Snyder did not play in 2015.....

Chris Snyder announced his retirement from professional baseball on Sunday.

Snyder had been playing at the Rangers Triple-A Affiliate in Round Rock, where he was 5-for-21 (.238) in his first seven games. The 33-year-old backstop wraps up his big league career hitting .224/.328/.382 with 77 homers and 298 RBI in 715 games across 10 seasons. Sun, Apr 20, 2014 10:19:00 PM

Oopsie, I got him mixed up with Chris Stewart - who went in the 9th (!) round. Some other lucky guy will get to be a Bumble - lucky for the roster spot, and apparently lucky to avoid a pretty nasty injury
