1 Trash Fire Jimmy Key on Sat Apr 04, 2015 10:53 am

The Trailer Parkes Trash today fired long-time GM, Manager, Equipment Manager, Owner, Assistant General Manager, Clerical Assistant, and Assistant to the Travelling Secretary Jimmy Key as a result of Cindy Key's (his wife) interference in negotiations to have Jimmy post a "happy Father's day" video to Jamie Parkes' Facebook account.

For those lacking the appropriate background, Jimmy Key was/is the longtime personal hero of Parkes' being a star left handed pitcher, (just like Parkes), and having worked with Parkes on his pickoff move during his time as a player for Team Ontario in 1991-93.

Parkes himself uses Jimmy Key's name for his email accounts, poker accounts, and as his alias when checking into various "sketchy" establishments. He has over 250 Jimmy Key rookie cards, 15 posters, and even a personalized greeting from Mr. Key when he served as a representative for CIBC in 1989. Moreover, Parkes has even created 3 bobble head dolls (hand crafted and painted) of Key.

Parkes' wife (identify protected), managed to contact Key on his 12 acre farm. She managed to arrange for Key to create a personalized video where Key would say "Hello Jamie. Good to see you again! Happy First Father's Day!" however, Cindy Key (also responsible for Key leaving the Toronto Blue Jays), now serving as his manager (and as Parkes added Whip Holder), decided that Parkes' wife needed to pay $250 for the greeting.

Being that Jimmy Key is a largely forgotten, albeit somewhat minor celebrity, Parkes' wife thought the $250 was a little steep, and wouldn't mean as much because she had to pay for the greeting. Thus, she rejected the offer.

In any event, Parkes learned of this today, and immediately removed all associations with Key. Thus the announcement that Key is no longer part of the Trash.

(TRUE STORY).
