Trailer Parkes Trash

The "re sim" or as I like to call it, (tongue in cheek) "Markham goes up, Trash goes down" happened because one team fielded a roster of only 22 players, and the other (mine as I was away) fielded a roster of 26. Now, during those games, the extra player on my team never appeared in a game, however, I sort of understand the logic.

However, through recent discussions, I have come to understand that one of the players I traded away weeks ago, has actually been on my team the entire time. Meaning, he wasn't moved to the team he was traded too. So he was occupying a roster spot on my team even though he wasn't on my team...

So isn't this justification for the re-simming of the entire period of time since that trade?

Just something to discuss as I feel the re sim mentioned above probably shouldn't have happened... I could see a re sim in the situation where a serious violation of a manager's profile occurs (like when I had a position player pitch the first 4 of 5 games of the season a few sims back) but in the circumstance when an extra player doesn't even appear?

Hmmm...

Just something to think about.

That does seem like a light reason to have a re-sim. It would be prudent to place in writing on the rules page the various circumstances that will result in a re-sim so that we can ensure that they are employed fairly.

As much as i would agree circumstances to show when resims happen would be good to know, (or even when redraft is necessary). I think its just hard to account for EVERY scenario.

If it was just Trash's one mistake and the player never played I wouldn't care..
Same thing like when My list got skipped over for the last 4 rounds of the draft and I think I still got my 2nd,1st,3rd and 2nd guy on each list (SP/OF/IF/RP) so no point to redraft when I was ok with that (and It was the last 4 rounds) so was the Cabal.

I would think When it can clearly have an impact on the results a resim MUST happen

Missing 3 players on a roster definitely counts

You can't account for every scenario. But just because condoms aren't 100% effective doesn't mean that you should not bother to use them. Having an established set of guidelines would reduce Resim resentment(tm) and help protect Ken from owners who believe they are being treated unfairly.

Interesting choice of comparison there Smile

I am sure there is probably some general rules they follow for Resims and such.
Cabal members.. (or is it Kabal I never remember) Care to chime in?

Also that resim cost me 2 games by 1 run and haven't had a winning sim since. Not good!
