The "re sim" or as I like to call it, (tongue in cheek) "Markham goes up, Trash goes down" happened because one team fielded a roster of only 22 players, and the other (mine as I was away) fielded a roster of 26. Now, during those games, the extra player on my team never appeared in a game, however, I sort of understand the logic.
However, through recent discussions, I have come to understand that one of the players I traded away weeks ago, has actually been on my team the entire time. Meaning, he wasn't moved to the team he was traded too. So he was occupying a roster spot on my team even though he wasn't on my team...
So isn't this justification for the re-simming of the entire period of time since that trade?
Just something to discuss as I feel the re sim mentioned above probably shouldn't have happened... I could see a re sim in the situation where a serious violation of a manager's profile occurs (like when I had a position player pitch the first 4 of 5 games of the season a few sims back) but in the circumstance when an extra player doesn't even appear?
Hmmm...
Just something to think about.
