The Markham Squeeze trade minor leaguers Henderson Alvarez and Steven Souza Jr.
to the Gallifrey Time Lords for Julio Teheran and Yadier Molina.

The Markham Squeeze Fan Club held a small rally for returning Squeeze hurler, Julio Teheran.

Teheran has spent his entire career with the Squeeze, save for the 13 starts made for the Time Lords this year.

"Moneyball" is just an attempt at packaging an philosophy that Oakland used and marketing it to the casual (or non) fan.

Namely, that philosophy is that you can quantify a player's performance by using statistical profiles and using those profiles to find market inefficiencies.

Analytics, as the hockeypucks call it, is one of the most misunderstood (and most powerful tools) in sports management.

A great management structure uses scouting and analytics to build their rosters after all.

If we are being correct, That's Peter brand a composite character based on PAUL depodesta.

Interesting deal though
not my cup of tea as you know I personally put next to no value in a Minor leaguer at this point in the year (through many discussions about it). Hate doing a trade strictly based on projections and gut feelings.
also based on our Chris Davis For Aaron Heilman deal a month or 2 into his breakout year Smile (not going to stop mentioning that btw).
