Markham Squeeze tire of the clubhouse conditions in Chavez Ravine; move north of the border....

Go down  Message [Page 1 of 1]

In the 23 season long history of the Markham Squeeze, the team called Chavez Ravine and Dodger Stadium its home (with the exception of the second half of Season 3, when they used Coors Field because of renovations in L.A.)

However, as the conditions in the stadium continue to deteriorate and the clubhouse continues to be an embarrassment (think the first act of Major League), team owner and GM Ken Kosowan decided to take matters into his own hands.

The Markham Squeeze will now call the Rogers Centre home.

Rumors are that Kosowan will want to serve as the Field Timing Coordinator from the 300 level hatch that he found so comfortable.
